I am a documentary, candid wedding photographer. My philosophy as a wedding photographer is that photography is simply an insight into the human experience. Laughter and movement are what make our experiences real and connected. Documenting your wedding is about much more than imagery; it is sharing one of your biggest experiences with you! It is a chance to be there for you and build me as well.
We hired Alli for our engagement shoot and wedding because we liked the way her pictures looked and how she captures emotion in her photos. We can confidently say that if you like the way her sample photos look, you will get the same result. Alli’s work objectively speaks for itself, and working with her is a true pleasure. She is proactive, reliable, highly engaged and flexible. She knows how to make you feel super comfortable in front of a camera and is able to tease out the right emotion, the right pose to get amazing pictures that you’ll be eager to share with friends and family. We did our engagement shoot in NYC at the Highline which pre-COVID was filled to the brim with people. She figured out how to get the best poses and make you feel relaxed in spite of being surrounded by dozens of people. The engagement shoot is smart because it helps develop a relationship between the couple and Alli so you’re comfortable for the wedding day. On our wedding day, she partnered with a second shooter and both took excellent quality photos and captured the best moments of the whole day which we fondly reflect on.
